After using it a week I was more than happy to format and go back to Windows XP. From my own experience so far i agree with TRC, especially when you factor the cost of the upgrade into the equation. If you have legit copies of both windows XP and Vista and your computer can handle Vista, I would stick to Vista for one reason.
Vista is new and will probably be supported for long after Windows XP support is over. And the computer was overhauled so it can handle it. The reasoning behind it is that most people are sticking to XP for now.
For 6 years in the making I can't personally see how its worth the money. It offers very little, all I know is there are a lot of people at MS who have done their fair share of bum scratching in the past few years.
